A Revelstoke artist will be holding a mural workshop in Kelowna as part of B.C. Culture Days.

This month, artist Claudia Simon, also known as Turbo Bambi, an illustrator and graphic designer, is hosting a collaborative line art and painting workshop in Kelowna called Behind the wall: The making of a collective mural.

"A short video will be created about the collaborative art process and shared online throughout the course of B.C. Culture Days," said Angela Poon, communications specialist with Murray Paterson Marketing Group.

On Aug. 28 from 5-8 p.m. and 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., you can join Bambi at the Centre culturel francophone de l'Okanagan.

For more information contact the centre at 250-860-4074 or by email at

B.C. Culture Days will run from Sept. 25 to Oct. 25 this year in Kelowna and Lake Country, Poon said.

The two cities will be holding a mix of in-person, live stream, digital and self-guided tours throughout the month-long celebration, according to a B.C. Culture Days press release.

The month-long event raises the awareness, accessibility, participation, and engagement of Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities and is a movement across Canada.
