The 104th Falkland Stampede continues today

For those who missed the cowboy gathering yesterday, the 104th Falkland Stampede has plenty of events today and tomorrow.

The Falkland Stampede is one of the longest running rodeos in Canada and it’s continuing the tradition this weekend. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and students.

The rodeo’s parade starts at 12:30 p.m., closing the highway at 12:15 p.m. today. 

The rodeo events kick off at 2 p.m. and there are beer gardens open until 7 p.m.

To close the day off there is going to be a dance tonight at 9 p.m., tickets for the dance are $20.

Tomorrow there is a breakfast between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. with the rodeo events starting at 1 p.m.

This year’s stampede is featuring professional rodeo clown Dennis Halstead, and Full Throttle Trick Riding & Yule Ponies.
