Telus Q3 net income rises to $351 million as revenue grows nearly six per cent

VANCOUVER - Telus Corp.'s net profit and adjusted earnings were up substantially in the third quarter, as the Vancouver-based telecom company boosted revenue from both wireless and wireline services. Telus (TSX:T) says its net income rose eight per cent to $351 million or $1.08 per share. Overall revenue was up 5.8 per cent to nearly $2.8 billion from just over $2.6 billion in the third quarter of 2011.
