Sunshine and seasonable temperatures expected this weekend in Kamloops

Kamloops can expect a pretty nice weekend with temperatures around the freezing mark, some sunshine and little in the way of precipitation.

The weather in Kamloops this weekend should be ideal for outdoor activities.

In fact, the city can generally expect a relatively benign weather pattern over the next few days with no major storms or notable amounts of precipitation expected, according to Environment Canada.

The forecast calls for a mainly cloudy day today, Dec. 12, with a high of 3 Celsius and an overnight low dipping to 0 C under cloudy skies.

Tomorrow should be mainly cloudy with a high of 2 C and a low of -1 C.

Saturday should see a mix of sun and clouds and a high to 1 C with cloudy periods overnight and a low of -1 C.

Mainly sunny skies are predicted for Sunday with a high of -3 C and an overnight low of -5 C under clear skies.

Sunny skies should persist into Monday with a high of -3 C and a low of -5 C.

Clouds are expected to move in Tuesday with a high of -1 C and a low of -3 C.

Wednesday should see more clouds and a high to 0 C.

Normal temperatures at this time of year in Kamloops are highs of 0 C and lows of -6 C.
