Sunny and warm this week in Kamloops

The forecast in Kamloops this week calls for sunshine and daytime high temperatures up to eight degrees above normal for this time of year.

The Weather Network is calling for "an extreme week" across Canada with the warm weather in most of British Columbia contrasting with the potential for snow in Northern Ontario and Manitoba.

The Environment Canada forecast for Kamloops calls for a mix of sun and cloud this morning, Sept. 28, with clearing this afternoon, winds from the southeast at 20 km/h, a high of 24 Celsius and low of 9 C.

There’s a mix of sun and cloud expected Tuesday with a high of 26  C and a low of 11 C.

Sunny skies are in store for Wednesday with a high of 25 C and a low of 12 C expected.

Thursday should see a mix of sun and cloud, a high of 24 C and a low of 13 C.

Much the same is forecast for Friday, with sunshine and clouds, a high of 23 C and a low of 11 C expected.

It’s looking like a great fall weekend as well, with sunny skies and a high of 24 C continuing into Saturday.

Normal temperatures for this time of year in Kamloops are highs of 18 C and lows of 6 C.
