PENTICTON - A fire at a Summerland residence yesterday has left the home with significant structure and smoke damage.

Summerland firefighters were called to a structure fire at 9918 Canyon View Rd. around 2 p.m., yesterday, March 1. When they arrived they found smoke and flames coming from the rear of the residence.

Noble says the building suffered significant structural damage to one room and smoke damage throughout.

No one was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

Cause of the fire is unknown and the incident remains under investigation.
