Road closures are mostly confined to the lakefront in Penticton today, Aug. 25 and tomorrow, Aug. 25, 2017, while the Penticton Multisport Festival continues.

PENTICTON - Today is the aquathlon at the Penticton ITU Multisport World Championship Festival.
Road closures for the festival are minimal for today, Aug. 25 and Saturday, Aug. 26, as most of the action takes place in or along the water.
Lakeshore Drive from Veterans Way to Riverside Drive will be closed from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. today.
Lakeshore Drive will also be closed in the evening between Power Street and Riverside Drive from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. for a street dance.
Tomorrow, Aug. 26, Lakeshore Drive is closed from Winnipeg Street to Riverside Drive from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for the kid’s triathlon.
Riverside Drive will also be closed tomorrow between Lakeshore Drive and Burnaby Avenue between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m., again for the kid’s triathlon.
