Stay active this season with Kelowna winter programs

The City of Kelowna Winter Activity and Program Guide will be available online starting Tuesday, Nov. 29.

Find activities at over 25 different facilities across Kelowna including weekly programs, daily workshops, sports leagues and classes. Try something new like a dance, cooking or yoga class. There’s hundreds of activities for all ages and abilities in the Winter Activity & Program Guide including aquatics, fitness, wellness and general interest programs.

Registration for winter programs begins Tuesday, Dec. 6.

Winter registration dates and times:

December 6:  General Programs (7:30 a.m.)

December 8:  Aquatics and First Aid (7:30 a.m.)

December 9:  Sports Leagues (7:30 a.m.), Programs for Persons with Disabilities (9:30 a.m.)

Residents can set up an online registration account in advance by calling 250-469-8800.

Hard copies of the guide will be available to the public starting November 30 at H20 Adventure & Fitness Centre, Glenmore IGA, Main Library Downtown, Parkinson Recreation Centre and Rutland Arena.

With three fitness rooms and a pool, staying in shape throughout the winter is easy and affordable at Parkinson Recreation Centre. Eligible new members can purchase a one-month Promo Pass for $25 (plus tax). There are also drop-in fitness classes throughout the city.
