Staff find threat spray painted on Kamloops elementary school

KAMLOOPS - Classes won't be disrupted today for students at a Kamloops elementary school after staff noticed the building had been tagged with a graffiti threat this morning.

School officials say Kamloops RCMP were called today, Sept. 20, to investigate Dallas Elementary School and its perimeter.

Police determined the threat was not credible, according to post from school principal Grant Naylor on the school's website.

This is the fifth threat to a Kamloops school in the past two weeks.

"It is critically important for parents to stress to their children the consequences of these inappropriate actions regarding such matters in any and all school settings," Naylor says.
