TORONTO — The Canadian Premier League is coming to Quebec in 2026.

The league announced Wednesday that it will add a ninth team in the Greater Montreal Area.

The new CPL club will play its matches at Stade Boréale in Laval, Que., which is also home to the Northern Super League's Montreal Roses FC.

The stadium will also house the club’s training facilities and offices.

The CPL’s first Quebec-based club is led by an ownership group of Matt Rizzetta, Angelo Pasto, Stéphane Tétrault and Jean-François Chenail.

The team was scheduled to unveil its name, crest, and colours on Wednesday night at Complex Multi-Sports de Laval. Fans can watch on OneSoccer or OneSoccer's YouTube channel.
