BOTTOM LINE: Maryland visits Marquette after Pharrel Payne scored 22 points in Maryland's 84-64 victory against the Alcorn State Braves.

Marquette finished 14-3 at home a season ago while going 23-11 overall. The Golden Eagles averaged 76.6 points per game while allowing opponents to score 68.7 last season.

Maryland finished 5-5 on the road and 27-9 overall last season. The Terrapins shot 47.0% from the field and 37.4% from 3-point range last season.
