Spooky skies over Kamloops for the Halloween weekend

Haunting clouds over the Thompson River

KAMLOOPS - Appropriately gloomy weather is in store for most of the Halloween weekend, according to Environment Canada’s weather forecast for the Kamloops region.

Friday, Oct. 27, promises to be the warmest day of the weekend, sunny and crisp, at 12 Celsius.

Clouds will roll in on Saturday, although no rain is anticipated until the evening, and the high of 9 C is in keeping with the seasonal average.

Expect the clouds to linger on Sunday, with a high of 10 C. Environment Canada has offered no official forecast about the number of ghosts and ghouls you might encounter.

Clear skies and eerie moonlight on Friday night will offer your best chance at witch-spotting, but be prepared for a weekend full of dark and stormy nights — and days — right through to Halloween.
