The struggling shop that sells specialty foods in Okanagan Falls may be on its last stand, warning the community that Tuesday will be its final day if enough sales aren’t made.
“I’d like to very candidly share with you where we're at,” Little Falls Foods posted to its Facebook page yesterday, April 2.
“Truthfully, we have about three days left to try to find our way out of this situation. If revenues increase right away, we will be able to pay our expenses, purchase new specialty inventory, and move forward with our plans as a specialty store. If not, that's that.”
The business attributes its struggles to rising overhead costs over the past month, and only bringing in half as much revenue since mask mandates were lifted in March.

If things don’t work out, the owners say they feel they took their “very best shot at making this store a success.”
Okanagan Falls lost its only grocery store late in 2019. Little Falls Foods opened in May 2021.
Owners shared concerns about having to close their doors in the past but this warning is much more imminent.
