South Okanagan residents are reporting they are unable to use their internet this afternoon.
Residents in Summerland, Penticton and Okanagan Falls are taking to social media, saying they are unable to access their Shaw internet and cable.
Shaw reported there is an outage in the Penticton area which includes: internet, business internet, phone, business phone, digital TV, VOD, Gateway, BlueCurve TV and WiFi access points, according to its website.
"Some customers in Penticton and surrounding area are experiencing an interruption to internet, television and home phone services. We are working to restore service as quickly as possible and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," according to the website.
As of 2:52 p.m., Shaw said its employees are looking into the outage.
To determine if an outage is affecting your services, check your account on the My Shaw website or the My Shaw App and look for an alert banner.
