TORONTO - It might only be a friendly in the middle of gruelling season, but it's a game Terry Dunfield is still looking forward to.

The Canadian midfielder will share the temporary grass field at Rogers Centre tomorrow with some of the best players in the world when Toronto FC meets Liverpool.

Although the match means nothing in the standings, Dunfield says TFC wants to give a good showing against the English giants.

Liverpool has brought most of it's first-team players on it's pre-season tour, including Steven Gerrard.

Dunfield says he has followed Gerrard's career and is looking forward to playing against the England captain, as well as hopefully getting a chance to chat with him afterwards.

Toronto FC has played 10 games since June 16 and coach Paul Mariner says he plans to rest many of his starters for the Liverpool clash.

Mariner adds that some players who have yet to see first-team action will play against Liverpool, as well as some members of TFC's youth system.
