Snowy Ogopogo surfaces in Quesnel

The Ogopogo has strayed from its traditional territory of Okanagan Lake to make a winter appearance up in Quesnel.

The mythical monster has been frozen at the top of Vaugh Street above the old field of the Quesnel Junior School, where great detail went into the numerous scales and spikes that comprise the vertically-slithering snow creature.

The public has been invited to see "Snowgopogo 2022" in person by Vanessa Hildreth, the woman who sculpted it and shared a photo on the Quesnel Community News and Events Facebook page.
