It’s Penticton and the South Okanagan’s turn for snow this morning.
Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for Penticton and the South Okanagan this morning, Jan.16.
A Pacific storm crossing the region could bring 10 to 15 centimetres to the South Okanagan before tapering off to flurries later this morning.
An additional five to 10 cm is expected before the system moves away. Travel over some routes in the area could be made difficult by rapidly accumulating snow.
There is also a winter storm warning in effect for Highway 3 from the Kootenay Pass through to the Paulson Summit with 30 to 40 cm of snow expected on that route today before it tapers off tonight.
