Environment Canada issued another a snowfall warning for the Trans-Canada Highway and the Okanagan Connector.
"A strong frontal system will cross the province on Tuesday," according to Environment Canada.
"Freezing levels will fall in advance of the system then a moisture-laden airmass will sweep through on Tuesday."
Fifteen centimetres of snow is expected to fall on Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass Tuesday with a possible additional 10 to 15 cm Tuesday night."
On the Connector 15 to 20 cm is expected over the Pennask and Kootenay Pass summits beginning tonight and carrying on through Tuesday morning.
Snow levels will lower to near 1,000 metres. Snow, they say, heavy at times, will begin overnight and will taper off in the afternoon Tuesday.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
