If you're planning a drive between the southern Interior and the Lower Mainland tonight or tomorrow, be sure you have your winter tires on.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement this morning, Oct. 26, for the Coquihalla Highway from Merritt to Hope.
Forecasters are calling for 10 to 20 centimetres of snow tonight and tomorrow, mainly on the Coquihalla Summit, thanks to an unstable westerly flow.
At times there will be a mix of rain and snow near the summit, and through the lower elevations will be just rain, reads the statement, which adds that the exact amount may vary greatly.
