The Okanagan Connector was hit with a blast of snow early Sunday morning.

Environment Canada issued a special weather statement for the Okanagan Connector, from Merritt to Kelowna, noting that an unseasonably cool airmass has resulted in wet snow.

"Snowfall accumulations of two to five centimetres are possible before the snow changes to rain by this afternoon," reads the alert.

Road conditions are available at www.drivebc.ca.
