OLIVER - The South Okanagan’s newest ski resort is offering a gift to its guests through the month of February.

Baldy Mountain Ski Resort spokesperson Stephanie O’Brien announced Jan. 31 the resort will be offering $5 lift tickets on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, through February.

O’Brien says the initiative is a way for the resort to thank its customers for the support given them this year, as the ski resort resumes business after seeking a buyer the previous two seasons.

The $5 lift tickets apply to all age groups and begins today, Wednesday, Feb. 1, ending Tuesday, Feb. 28.

“It’s our gift to the valley and all our guests,” O’Brien says.

Baldy Mountain Ski Resort is located approximately 35 kilometres east of Oliver.
