It has been ten days since a 42-year-old Kelowna man went missing in Kamloops.
Joe Driscoll’s sister, Emma, has not given up hope finding him and is pleading for anyone who has any information to come forward.
“My family and I have been in Kamloops every day since he went missing and we have searched hospitals, shelters, the streets and allies,” she said. “We’ve put up posters. We just need one clue.”
Joe was reported missing by RCMP on Nov. 17 and was last seen on Nov. 11. Emma said she is the second to last person who spoke to him before his disappearance.
“I am his little sister, yes we have a tight relationship,” she said. “He hasn’t made a single phone call, he hasn’t even turned his phone on. I know that because our phones are on a family Apple Share program. He hasn’t taken anything out financially.”

Emma said Joe initially went out to Kamloops to attend a concert by a Tragically Hip tribute band. He was last seen on Nov. 11 in the Valleyview area. And his truck had been impounded.
“We have his truck,” she said. “We know he was driving with someone on the 11th and the truck was impounded but he wasn’t arrested. The truck has always been with us.”
Emma said her brother typically works at camps on a two-week in, two-week out rotation, and liked to party and have fun on his days off, but he has never disappeared before.
“I think he most likely met someone who was shady and may have been a victim of that lifestyle or something,” she said.
She describes her brother as “the nicest people in the world” who would “do anything for anybody.”
“He has a family here who loves him and wants him home. Our world is completely shattered, he is a son, a brother and an uncle. He has so many people who love him.”
Police describe Driscoll as a 42-year-old male, 5'10" tall, 166 lb., bald with green eyes. He has a tribal tattoo on his neck, a skull tattoo on his left forearm and a tribal tattoo on his upper back.
RCMP say he is associated with a 2016 Black Ford F-350 pickup truck with the B.C. licence plate KW 6538.
Kamloops RCMP asks anyone with information on Driscoll’s whereabouts to contact the detachment at 250-828-3000.
Kamloops RCMP did not respond in time for publication to a request for updates on the case.
