Shuswap man all smiles after $50,000 lotto win

A Lucky Lines Scratch and Win ticket that was purchased at the Eagle Valley Pharmacy on Main Street in Sicamous turned out to be a grand prize winner.

And now Harold Fitzpatrick from Sicamous is $50,000 wealthier because of it, according to a press release from the B.C. Lottery Corporation.

“I scratched it and couldn’t believe my eyes, so I took it to a nearby gas station to check it,” he said in the release.

“It feels really good. It makes me feel special and blessed.”

Fitzpatrick has not yet decided what to spend his winnings on.
