Showers on the weekend in Kamloops could turn to flurries on Monday

Unsettled weather conditions are expected this weekend in Kamloops with a mix of sun and cloud along with a chance of showers both days. A cooling trend could mean snow flurries early next week.

The forecast for today, Nov. 21, calls clouds this morning and sunshine this afternoon with a daytime high of 4 Celsius. Overnight, some cloud is expected to roll in with the low down to -3 C.

Tomorrow should see a mix of sun and cloud in the morning with clearing in the afternoon and a high of 3 C. It should be mostly clear tonight with a low of 0 C.

Saturday should see a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of showers and a high of 6 C. Cloudy periods along with a 40 per cent chance of showers continue overnight with a low of 2 C.

A sun and cloud mix on Sunday comes with a 60 per cent possibility of showers with a daytime temperature of 6 C, dropping to -3 C overnight.

Monday should see a 40 per cent chance of showers or flurries in Kamloops with a high of 4 C. Cloudy conditions and a low of -2 C is expected overnight.

The cooling trend continues on Tuesday under cloudy skies with a high of 0 C and a low of -4 C.

Wednesday is expected to be cloudy with a high of 0 C.

Normal temperatures for this time of year in Kamloops are highs of 3 C and lows of -3 C.
