KAMLOOPS – RCMP are releasing few details about a report of a shooting in downtown Kamloops last night.
Staff Sgt. Edward Preto says in a media release RCMP were called to an apartment building at 110 Columbia Street just before 10 p.m. yesterday, Dec. 29.
Police will only say officers were responding to a report of a man shot in the leg and were “dealing with occupants of one the units” in the apartment building.
RCMP aren’t releasing any other information about the shooting, including whether or not there is a suspect, the condition of the shooting victim or if there is any danger to the public.
