Helen Bobbett of Salmon Arm has proven that age is just a number.

Bobbett had a hole-in-one, Aug. 12, on the 15th hole at the Club Shuswap Golf Resort near Salmon Arm.

“It’s actually the fourth one she’s had in her life, and she’s such an incredible golfer. She comes out almost every single day and golfs our course. Does 18 holes in an hour and a half, it’s incredible to watch her go, she’s like a little bulldog, so we so excited for her,” the golf club's pro shop supervisor Mike Nash said.

The golf club presented her with a plaque and a reserved parking spot because she loves to park in the shade.

“We’ve only had two (hole-in-ones) all year,” he said. “It’s such a rare thing for someone to get a hole-in-one.”

This may be Bobbett's last year golfing, Nash said, adding that she lives in an assisted-living home.
