Penticton-based spoken word artist Shane Koyczan narrates a new video for the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation that thanks the community for gifts it has received.
Opening with shots of hockey players “giving it their best shot” with no guarantee of winning the video goes on to show scenes of ambulances heading toward the hospital and patients being looked after.
It has memorable lines like, “There is more to being alive than just our data plans… there’s our plans.”
The video is called Where the Miracles Live.
