The South Thompson is under a severe thunderstorm watch.
Environment Canada issued the alert around 10:30 a.m. this morning, June 24.
“Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and torrential rain,” the alert says.
“Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.”
