KELOWNA - Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for communities in the Okanagan, and north into the Shuswap.
The forecasters are calling for thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Those thunderstorms could potentially become severe.
Strong, gusty winds, large hail, heavy downpours and intense lightning could develop.
A watch means there is a chance of severe weather today. It doesn't mean severe weather is a certainity.
