A search party is being organized to look for a missing Kelowna man who was last seen in Kamloops.
Joe Driscoll, 43, was last seen in the Valleyview area of Kamloops in the early morning hours of Nov. 12, and he was reported missing by police on Nov. 17. He initially went to Kamloops to attend a concert and hasn’t contacted his family since, something his sister Emma Driscoll said is out of character.
His family in Kelowna have been working closely with Kamloops RCMP to find him, while his coworkers in Northern B.C. recently offered a $10,000 reward for any information about the missing man.

“He has had issues with substance abuse in the past and as a people person, the isolation caused by the pandemic restrictions were really hard on him,” Emma said in a previous interview with iNFOnews. “I think the last two years he has fought harder than he has before. It is possible he could have relapsed but he has never disappeared before. I honestly don’t know anymore.”
Duane Hanson is a co-worker and friend who helped pull the reward money together. He's been networking on social media, looking for clues and spreading the word about the search party.
“I’m asking Kamloops citizens to join the search if they're able to donate the time,” Hanson said.
Search volunteers are being asked to gather at the Valleyview A&W in Kamloops, 1847 Trans-Canada Highway, at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. You can call 250-878-4984 for more information.

Police describe Joe as 5'10" tall, 166 lb. with a bald head and green eyes. He has a tribal tattoo on his neck, a skull tattoo on his left forearm and a tribal tattoo on his upper back.
Kamloops RCMP continue to ask anyone with information on Joe Driscoll’s whereabouts to contact the detachment at 250-828-3000.
