PENTICTON - Search and Rescue crews came to the aid of an injured ATV rider today in West Kelowna.
The man suffered some upper body injuries and was extracted by air to Kelowna General Hospital, Duane Tresnich of Central Okanagan Search & Rescue said today in a media release.
Today at 11:30 a.m., Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR) were called to assist the B.C. Ambulance Service in the Glenrosa area of West Kelowna, Tresnich said.
Six COSAR members and three Penticton Search and Rescue members attended the scene.
Search and Rescue crews got permission from Kal Siewert to land the helicopter in his field to drop off the injured man. Siewert also filmed this video.
