A Canadian action-thriller starring some well-known Hollywood actors is currently being filmed in the B.C. interior.
"Dangerous" features some big-name stars including Scott Eastwood, Tyrese Gibson, Famke Janssen, Kevin Durand and Mel Gibson. It's currently being filmed in Kelowna, Quilchena, Kamloops and Lavington.
Eastwood plays a reformed sociopath who, after the death of his brother, heads to a remote island that soon falls under siege by a gang of mercenaries. Forced to fend for himself, he discovers their role in his brother’s demise and sets off on a quest for vengeance.

The film also features a strong Canadian cast, including Brendan Fletcher ("Braven"), Ryan Robbins (“Sanctuary”), Chad Rook (“Siren”), Leanne Lapp ("iZombie"), Destiny Millns ("BH90210") and more.
Production for "Dangerous" was made possible through the Creative Saskatchewan Feature Film Production Grant Program and the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit.
“Without this Federal Government emergency fund the production would not have moved forward," Producer Kevin Dewalt said in a release.
"Although we did not access any production financing directly, the program was a backstop like an insurance policy, in case the film was delayed or shut down due to the pandemic."
The film is also supported by the Short-Term Compensation Fund, administered by Telefilm Canada on behalf of the Government of Canada.
David Hackl directs "Dangerous," and is also known for directing "Saw V" and "Daughter of the Wolf."
