KELOWNA - A Kelowna nightclub is going to "level" up this summer.

In a press release, Eddy and Tony Racano, owners of the Sapphire Nightclub, announced they've purchased the Level nightclub on Leon Avenue.

The brothers, who've been involved with the local entertainment scene for 20 years, stated they bought the venue because it provides an opportunity to bring more shows to Kelowna.

The brothers said the club is currently undergoing substantial renovations with a revised layout ahead of a planned grand opening early this summer.

The brothers plan to release more information about the club in the near future, but at the moment two shows are scheduled for the venue in May.

Kelowna-based producer Downlink will perform at the club on May 10 as part of the Doom System 2019 tour, while Tatianna, famous for appearing on RuPaul's Drag Race, will be featured on May 11.
