A Salmon Arm resident is looking forward to purchasing a new set of golf clubs for himself after winning a $50,000 prize in the Lucky Lines Scratch & Win ticket.

Ronald Morlock says he purchased the the ticket from Husky in Salmon Arm, according to a British Columbia Lottery Corporation media release issued today, April 29.

He was at home when he scratched the ticket and realized he’d won the big prize.

“I called my sister and told her. She didn’t believe me at first so I went to her house so she could double check the ticket for me, because I just couldn’t believe it,” Morlock said in the release.

“It feels different. It feels good to be a winner! I’m still in some shock.”
