Salmon Arm RCMP are seeking the public's help identifying two female suspects in connection with a stolen trailer that disconnected from the truck they were driving and crashed into a tree.

On June 21 a 2016 Jayco tent trailer being towed by a small black pickup truck driven by the suspects disconnected and crashed into a tree.

The truck fled the scene, and Salmon Arm RCMP later contacted the owner of the trailer who advised it had been stolen, although at the time was not aware of this.

Salmon Arm RCMP have now released screen shots from video surveillance footage of two female suspects.

The truck, first thought to have been a Mazda, is an older model black Toyota pickup truck.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Salmon Arm RCMP detachment at 250-832-6044.
