KELOWNA - Salmon Arm will be the 22nd stop on the Rogers Hometown Hockey tour when it returns for its sixth season.
The 25-city tour that's a celebration of local hockey stories that connect the nation begins Oct. 5 in Ontario as the NHL begins its 2019-20 campaign, according to the Rogers Hometown Hockey website.
The only stop in the Thompson-Okanagan is Salmon Arm and that will take place on March 8, 2020.
The tour is once again hosted by Sportsnet's Ron MacLean and Tara Slone, who will travel 23,907 kilometres over the course of the 2019-20 season, the equivalent of crossing Canada from East to West more than four times.
The Hometown Hockey Tour will be in Salmon Arm in March of 2020.
