KRAFT HOCKEYVILLE CONTEST
Okanagan – Salmon Arm has won $50,000 in upgrades for the Shaw Centre arena as the community makes it to the top four in the annual Kraft Hockeyville contest.
Salmon Arm is in the top two in the west, up against Sylvan Lake, Alta. for one of the two $100,000 grand prizes to be awarded.
The Shaw Centre, home to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the BCHL, had already won $25,000 for making it to the top 4 in the west.
Unfortunately the Osoyoos Sun Bowl is out of the competition following Saturday night’s announcement on Hockey Night in Canada. Although the community also pocketed $25,000 for making it to the western top four.
The final voting closes at 11:59:59 p.m. Monday.
