Casimir will be joined by councillors Marie Baptiste, Thomas Blank, Nickole Fraser, Joshua Gottfriedson, Justin Gottfriedson, David Manuel and Nicole Peters for the new term.

The elected chief and council will be sworn in on Nov. 15. The event will be live-streamed on the band’s Facebook and Vimeo pages starting at 4:30 p.m.

For those who wish to attend the ceremony at Moccasin Square Gardens, masks must be worn at all times and attendees will be required to be double vaccinated against COVID-19.
