KAMLOOPS — The owner of a missing Kamloops pup who vanished from his front yard more than a week ago says the reward for the safe return of his dog has been increased to more than $2,800.

Tyler Schell says his three-year-old French bulldog, Tucker, was last seen in Westsyde on Sunday July, 14 at around 11:30 a.m. The original reward was set at $500 but thanks to members of the community, Schell was able to raise that amount.

"Some people have donated additional funds to increase the reward to help find Tucker," Schell says.

The payout is for the safe return of Tucker or for information leading to his return, he says.

The French bulldog has a spinal cord injury for which he requires daily medication and is also on a restricted diet.

Schell says he was washing cars on his property on Porterfield Road when a woman walking with dogs passed by his house. He went to make sure his dog didn't go chase after the other dogs but realized Tucker was nowhere to be found.

Schell says they immediately started looking and has spoken with hundreds of people in an effort to find his dog without any luck.

Anyone with information on Tucker can contact Schell at 250-319-8662 or his sister, Jennifer De Lisi at 250-299-6817.
