The RDOS is celebrating its 50th year in 2016. The organization would like to hear from former directors, staffers and members of the public interested in finding out more about the organization.

PENTICTON - The Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen celebrates its 50th year in 2016.
The organization will hold its official anniversary on March 4, and as part of their celebrations the district will be showcasing some major projects and initiatives which have taken place over the past 50 years.
The regional district would also like to hear from members of the public. Residents who would like to find out more about regional government, or residents who have a historical story about the regional district, are welcome to give them a call at 250-492-0237.
The regional district would also like to hear from past directors or staff members, or from residents who knew someone once connected with the regional district.
The regional district has already produced a video as part of their 50th anniversary celebrations called Becoming a Director.
