For the fourth consecutive time, the Lotto Max draw is at record levels, reaching an estimated $140 million in total prizes for the draw tonight.
Tickets have to be bought by 7:30 p.m. today, June 18, according to a BC Lottery Corporation media release.
The top prize is $70 million, with another 70 Maxmillions prizes of $1 million each up for grabs.
On this past Tuesday’s draw, the total pot was about $128 million with eight people winning prizes of $1 million each.
The previous records were $120 million on June 11 and $117 million on June 8.
Odds of winning the jackpot are one in 33,294,800 per $5 ticket, the BC Lottery Corporation said.
People have to be 19 years or older to buy tickets.
So far this year, B.C. residents have won $66 million in Lotto Max draws.
