There's been another flight involving Kelowna and a COVID-19 exposure, but this time it originated from Kelowna.

Kelowna has been dealing with its own outbreak, initially spread at a party, the aftermath of which had more than 1,000 people in the province in quarantine.

Now WestJet says someone from Kelowna had COVID-19 on a flight to Edmonton, according to the BC CDC website, which lists current flight exposures on both domestic and international flights.

WestJet flight 3312 from Kelowna to Edmonton on July 13 had a COVID-19 infected passenger, impacting rows 11-17.

This is the fourth Kelowna flight in the last two months that has carried passengers with the disease, according to the CDC, all of which were flights originating from Kelowna.

All passengers who have travelled outside of Canada are required to self-isolate and monitor for symptoms for 14 days upon their arrival. Passengers on a domestic flight with a COVID-19 case should self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days, according to the BC CDC.

There are 114,597 confirmed cases in Canada as of July 28 including 8,901 deaths and 99,862 cases that have been resolved.
