KAMLOOPS - A re-entry meeting is being arranged for any property owner returning to the Loon Lake area.

Loon Lake residents are able to return home because the Evacuation Order that went into effect on July 14 is being rescinded effective 1 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 20, according to a TNRD release issued today, Aug. 19.

Property owners should attend the meeting because it is going to provide important information about returning home after such an extended absence.

Information from BC Wildfire, RCMP, Thompson-Nicola Regional District, Loon Lake Volunteer Fire Department and some of the non-government agencies such as United Way, Canadian Red Cross will be provided at the meeting.

Representatives will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.

The meeting will be held on August 20 at 11 a.m. at the Cache Creek Community Hall located at 1270 Stage Road.
