Kelowna RCMP arrested an individual after receiving a report of a possible weapon on Casorso Road early this morning.
At 6:50 a.m. today, Feb. 13, the Kelowna RCMP and the Emergency Response Team were called to the 3700 block of Casorso Road after receiving a report of a possible weapon, according to an RCMP media release.
The road was closed as a precaution but was shortly reopened after the incident was resolved which resulted in the arrest of an individual.
The investigation is still ongoing and further information will be released at a later time, RCMP said.
RCMP said there was no danger to public safety.
