Surrey RCMP have launched a tip line dedicated to the search for two children that are suspected of being abducted by their mother.

Aurora, 8, and Joshuah Bolton, 10, have been missing since July 17 when they weren't returned to their father in Surrey.

"We need the public to stay vigilant and call our tip line or email tips with any sightings,” Surrey RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Tammy Lobb said in a news release issued today, July 21.

RCMP now say the children are travelling with their mother Verity Bolton, her boyfriend Abraxas Glazov and their grandfather Robert Bolton.

The children initially left with their mother on June 28 for a vacation to the Kelowna area. On June 30, they picked up Robert Bolton in Chilliwack, the same day they were seen in downtown Kelowna.

As they left Chilliwack, the Dodge truck they were driving had no canopy and was towing a fifth-wheel camper.

Police believe Robert Bolton, 74, has been traveling with them since June 30.

On July 7, they were seen at a gas station in Merritt pulling a different trailer. So far, surveillance footage from the gas station is the last time Aurora and Joshuah were seen.

Verity was seen grocery shopping in Kamloops on July 15, and at that time the truck was then towing a horse trailer. RCMP say Verity has access to a number of trailers. Two days later, RCMP were contacted about the missing children.

“We know they have been using the same truck and they have been towing three different trailers, and we need the public to keep this in mind. It’s also possible the children could be spotted with either Robert Bolton, Abraxas Glazov or their mother Verity Bolton,” Lobb said.

Police believe Aurora and Joshuah are with the three adults, and officers throughout the Southeast District along with the Nelson Police Department are working with investigators from the Surrey detachment. Search and rescue groups and the BC Conservation Officer Service are also helping with the search.

The blue 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 they've been driving has BC license plate SJ2708.
