FILE PHOTO

The RCMP is asking for the public’s help in an ongoing investigation.

The RCMP is investigating after multiple commercial vehicles that were damaged by gunfire on Oct. 17, at the 4000 block of Trepanier Road in Peachland.

Five vehicles had been damaged, including a tractor-truck and four dump trucks, RCMP said. Surveillance footage was obtained but the suspects’ identities have not been confirmed. RCMP haven't released any of the surveillance footage and don't identify the trucks' owner.

Anyone who was travelling on Trepanier Road on the evening of Oct. 16, between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and observed a vehicle parked near the above building or having dashcam footage of the area is asked to contact the West Kelowna RCMP.

The West Kelowna RCMP can be reached at 250-768-2880, and the reference file number is 2023-62084. To report anonymously,  Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers can be contacted at 1-800-222-8477 or leave a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net.
