VERNON – Police are on the lookout for a man who spent thousands of dollars with a stolen credit card in Vernon and area.

RCMP say it all started over a week ago, on Feb. 8, when a man allegedly stole a credit card from the Husky gas station at 4500 27 St. in Vernon.

The card, which belongs to a local business, was then used several times at retailers in the Vernon area, according to an RCMP media release, racking up thousands of dollars in charges.

The suspect RCMP want to identify was caught on video and an image has been released.

Police describe the suspect as a Caucasian man, between 35 and 45 years of age, with short brown hair. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, black and white T-shirt, glasses and a silver necklace.
