Two suspects have been arrested in connection to a destructive blaze at a Penticton car dealership yesterday and RCMP are calling the probe into the fire an arson investigation.
Fire broke out early yesterday morning, May 11, at Penticton Toyota at 2405 Skaha Lake Rd. Smoke from the blaze could be seen from far outside the city.
“Penticton RCMP General Investigative Section has made quick progress on this investigation and have identified and arrested two persons believed responsible," Supt. Brian Hunter said in a press release.

“There is more work to do and more details will be forthcoming at the conclusion of our investigation and subsequent charges."
Supt. Hunter said at this time there is nothing to indicate a further risk to other businesses in the city of the public.
