Lake Country RCMP officers are investigating after an ATM was stolen from a business early this morning.
On Dec. 8, at approximately 4 a.m., the RCMP responded to a complaint at a business in the 9800 block of Highway 97 in Lake Country, according to the RCMP in a news release.
Police officers determined two men in a white van broke the front door of the business and stole the ATM from inside. RCMP don't identify the business.
“This investigation is in the beginning stages,” says Sgt. Jon Collins of the Lake Country RCMP, in the release. “We will be canvassing the area for witnesses, surveillance video and physical evidence.”
