RCMP investigate two unsolved robberies in West Kelowna

Early yesterday morning an employee at Husky Gas Station on Ross Road arrived to work to find their shop vandalized and the ATM machine stolen.

West Kelowna RCMP received the report just before 6:00 a.m.when the employee found shattered glass and damaged shutters on the store front. Police say the suspect(s) had dismantled the alarm system by cutting the building's telephone lines.

Another theft in West Kelowna was reported last Friday, after a flat deck trailer was stolen from a residence on the 1200 block of Stevens Road. Police say the gated entrance to the property was broken in and the suspects had removed pallets from inside the trailer before it was stolen. The trailer is estimated value of the trailer is $3,500.
RCMP are using the following description to recover the trailer:

  • A black 2009 Southland LBE16 flat deck
  • BC licence plate number 87320C
  • VIN 2S9FB331691022264
